Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It's gone down hill since Amanda McConaha left. The strawberry pancakes had no strawberries. We waited about 20 minutes to see our server. My cousins waited so long on their server that they left. We never got napkins. We never got water refills. We were surrounded by dirty tables. They were their normal busy and couldn't handle it and give a decent experience.

⭐☆☆☆☆ — Extremely Disappointing Experience On December 28, 2025, I had a very disappointing experience at Cracker Barrel that will ensure I do not return. I ordered chicken fried chicken, but when the food arrived it looked and tasted noticeably different than expected. I politely asked our waitress if the recipe had changed, as something seemed off. She stated that the recipe had changed like other items on the menu and said she would bring the manager over. When the manager, Phylicia Johnson , arrived, her demeanor was immediately dismissive and rude. Instead of asking questions or trying to understand the concern, she approached us with an attitude and asked, “Who had a problem with the food?” After we explained, she abruptly stated that nothing had changed and that it had “always be

Hi, party of 3 here. We were sat at our table at (5:25p) I can’t rate the food as we never received it. We were there 14 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then once she took our drink order, it took another 9 minutes for her to bring them out, water, sweet tea and Coke Zero. I tried to give grace simply because I have been a server in the past. I can usually tell when someone is new. Once she brought our drink order out, she took our food order. We ordered a hushpuppy shareable. It was brought out about 14 minutes later, without the comeback sauce that was advertised, they were “out”. We weren’t told this when we ordered. At 6:23 she brought out my 9 year old “sliders”. The buns were burnt and the burger wasn’t even acceptable enough to feed to my dog. OUR server brought the plate out

I love this location! Wait time is not long and the service there is really great! My favorite for breakfast. We ordered the mozzarella bites as an appetizer, the mama pancakes, cheesecake pancakes, and the server kept our drinks filled. We left very full and satisfied and the pricing is very reasonable. We will be returning & recommend this Cracker Barrel

Food was great, good price and quick service. My wife is Celiac though and we need a gluten free option at breakfast and lunch/dinner. You could use Pamela’s or something close for pancakes, and a grilled chicken option on your classic menu. I know it is difficult to have this but its also difficult to find somewhere to eat that has it. Also thank you for keeping the appearance of the Cracker Barrel store the same.
