Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

There’s been a lot of chatter in the news lately about Cracker Barrel so I figured I’d see for myself. I stopped into the Brooklyn, Ohio location and I’m glad I did. It was a pleasant surprise. Most of you know I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but this one stood out. Walking into a Cracker Barrel feels like stepping into a time capsule. From the rocking chairs out front to the country music and walls covered in antiques, it’s got that nostalgic charm. For me it brought back memories of road trips with my parents when we’d stop off the highway for a bite. I went all in with the Country Boy Breakfast and let me tell you it’s a feast. We were greeted so kindly as soon as we walked in. Nora, our server, was wonderful! Very attentive, friendly, and efficient! The food was delicious and I love the country home decor. Don't even get me started on everything I want to buy from the gift shop!! Always a 10/10 experience.

Haven't been to this CB location in quite awhile we were coming in town from the westside and decided to have lunch here They had a nice size lunch crowd but we were greeted and still show to our table in short matter of time. Our server was Molly who was very nice and accommodating. She took our order serve our drinks and we revieve our food hot and in a timely manner Molly check back with us later and kept us satisfied with her customer service and friendly smile The food and everything was really good we had tried their new catfish sandwiches meal

I've come here twice over the past few weeks after not being here for years. Overall the experiences were good with friendly staff, but the food tended to miss the mark for me (the biscuits and steak fries were great though). I did ask my waitress if the burger was good and she said she hasn't had meat in 17 years, which is fine. But when she asked how I wanted it cooked, I said "no pink" and she asked me to repeat myself, eventually saying she doesn't know what that means. I understand she hasn't eaten meat for a while but was definitely shocked that as a waitress she didn't know what that meant, especially considering meat tends to come pink and "no pink" seemed self explanatory. Overall though, she was good :)

A casual restaurant with good food. They have a decent selection of food. I really like their pot roast. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful when it came to the menu, and she had a lot of patience when it came to waiting on us. I truly appreciate that. Don't forget to check out their cute store on the way out. They have some cute, unique, and fun items.
