Crabby Bill's Palm Harbor

First time here and brought out a few friends that were visiting from out of state. I live in PH so I saw this being built. At first I thought it stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the little bungalow style restaurants downtown, but it's really nice. We sat upstairs, outside and you can just see a little pinch of water. There were two guitar players and 1 singer, they were both super talented and luckily it wasn't so loud we couldn't talk at our table. There was a mix of nicely dressed but also casual, so that was nice. I got laidback but more upscale vibes. Good was excellent, had the Alfredo shrimp pasta, and everyone in my party seemed very happy with their meals. Prices were about average for the area. Only complaint on service was waiting a bit for silverware after the entrees arrive

This restaurant is definitely in a nice area, but what drew us in was the large sign advertising $1 oysters. Unfortunately I didn’t have my reading glasses on to read the small print that it was at the bar only so it was a bit of a surprise when I got my bill. The bar area is very small and was full, otherwise we would have sat there. The food was good but very expensive for the portion sizes which were also very small. As seen from my photo, they keep their servings under heat lamps like McDonald’s. The waitress was very nice, it’s a shame she doesn’t have some descent management to work for.

Tonight we stopped in for a quick bite to eat and enjoyed our crab boil very much!! Great Location and the service is always very friendly and accommodating. Aside from the Great food and drinks… our server Alycia was Awesome!! She left us wanting for nothing and was attentive but not overbearing. Perfect compliment to a tasty meal and drinks! We had a great time at Crabbys PH. We sat right next to the kitchen which felt like a front row seat for the kids. The chef entertained them and made the night memorable. Our server, Presley, was amazing. Personable and attentive. Food was good, no complaints. Good specials on a Friday.

The grouper here is Incredible! From the appetizer to the Blackened Grouper tacos and reg Grouper Tacos, and of course the Grouper sandwich! Their fried chicken was delicious, Mac & cheese and fries also delicious. Our server was Alicia and she was a doll. Great experience, we'll be back. Mixed drinks are also delicious and great prices during Happy Hour. #jamesismycarguy
