Cozy Kitchen

I gave this 3 stars for the food. The service was good up until we paid. My husband asked the waitress to add $20 to our bill to pay it forward. When we got the total it was $68. We both started calculating and realized there was $40 added to our bill. My husband was going to say something, but over heard the waitress talking to a customer at the counter about it. We both knew when we left what you had done, but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. It's a shame it was a good experience up until then. We won't be back.

It's sad that they mentioned they are struggling for business. They clearly shouldn't be. The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly and felt like home. We were looking for a small town diner with old school values and cozy atmosphere, every part of our breakfast hit home like no other. We found our diamond in the rough. You don't find em like this anymore and the prices are more than fair in today's economy.

Food was great and service was very good as well. I had the vege omelette and my husband had the polish skillet. Both were awesome. Portion sizes very big as well.

First time here. Came here around 11AM on a Saturday morning. Service was ok. Waiter gave us water in the beginning after we sat down, but the waiter did not come by to fill up our water once we ran out. We had to stop her and ask her to fill it up after the food was pretty much done... Took about 45 mins to receive our food. What we ordered: - 2 Plain Pancakes It was fluffy, and big, & delicious! - Medium Well Steak Breakfast Steak was cooked to the point where it was very dry. Our waiter did not come by to fill up our water, so I was struggling to eat the dry steak. I chose "fries" on the side, but it looked & tasted like cut up pieces of boiled potatoes that ended up getting fried on a pan.. I got a side of home made white bread. It was delicious, and fluffy. Small diner with very friendly service. Coffee and food was delicious. Cozy little place that makes you feel like you’re family. And if they suggest getting pie, say yes please.
