Customer Reviews
Cozumel Mexican Restaurant, Houston, one of a small chain of restaurants scattered across south central MO. Average small town Mexican food. Old Pizza Hut converted to a Mexican restaurant. Inside ambiance, an old Pizza Hut converted, painted and decorated to look like a Mexican restaurant. Seating is comfortable. The food is good, lightly seasoned. The salsas are decent. Service is adequate. My wife had a tamale and enchilada: both covered in a mild red chili sauce. The tamale was very good. I had the relleno, added a taco. The relleno was filled with well melted cheese and covered with a tomato-based sauce. The taco big and packed with beef and cheese. Lots of hot salsa made it better. Was out showing property in the area and was starving. I had fajitas and my client had a chili relleno. They were pretty good. Lacked a little flavor I usually get at my favorite Mexican restaurants but maybe it was an off day. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt based on all the good reviews! I may give it another try if I’m back in the area. Service was a little lacking even though they weren’t busy. 🇲🇽🌮🫔🌯 I
On short notice was able to get lunch delivered for 20 people, & they thought of everything. All my guests loved the food & they took so much stress away. Very professional & will be ordering from them again. Many thanks!!!
Good food, great margaritas, service was decent and prices were good. I had enchiladas (chicken, beef and cheese) and they were all delicious. Very flavorful, which is something I'm picky about. It's definitely worth driving a bit farther than my usual Mexican place for something a bit higher quality. Something to note however is that there is no restroom that is even remotely wheelchair accessible and if you need to take a child into the restroom with you it will be very cramped.
Eat there anywhere from 2 to 3 times a week for the last few times I've ordered food from them to portions are super small and I don't get my extra cheese so unfortunately I'm going to have to fire them . So maybe they'll take this as a lesson and start treating their other customers better than they do me God bless and have a beautiful day anyone reading this thank you
