Coweta Drive-In

It’s like if Sonic, Dairy Queen, and a local diner had a baby! So yummy! The kids meal was enough for just me and my husband loved the Mushroom Swiss burger as it was fall apart yummy! The fries were hot & the corn nuggets took me back to my childhood. Our carhop was phenomenal and the service was 10/10!

I wanted to ensure I reviewed this being our second time here, our first visit did not entice me to do so. However I was very pleased with this go around. We got the chicken fried streak sandwich & a chicken strip dinner. Both were really good! Cooked well, not tough either to chew into like you might expect a chicken fried steak sandwich to be. The sides of fries and tater tots were also fresh and crunchy. The guy who brought it out was wearing gloves & was very nice, which is hard to come by these days with service. It wasn’t terribly priced we spent around $24 without tip. It’s just nice to see another drive-in besides your corporate chains that offer up something different & tasty. As long as the service & food stays like this or better we will be repeat customers.

Based on a recommendation, i tried Coweta Drive In for the 1st time. Unfortunately I left disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich. I wish I had taken a picture. There was way more bun than chicken fried steak. I actually removed the bottom bun just to proportion it. The patty reminded me of the frozen Tyson kind. It was small & was not seasoned at all. No flavor what so ever. However, the fries were hot, perfect & plentiful.

They’ve changed their chicken strips and they are incredible. My personal opinion. I go two or three times a week because they are that good, but I eat them there. If you take them home they get soft from the steam. They hand bread them in a beer batter now and they are crispy and hot!

Well the food was amazing a little pricier then I'm used to for a drive-in. But with good food and good ppl things turned out great. Keep up the good work. Will be back to try something new next time.
