I tried this place for lunch and the sandwhiches here are great, fresh bread, well-dressed and cooked Halal meats... << It is so hard to find places that only serves Halal meats in Hackensack. This place is truely a hidden gem in Hackensack for a quick bite for lunch. I will be coming here more often for lunch, as I would like to try other items on their menu.

This is hands-down the best bodega experience you will ever have, and it all comes down to two things: phenomenal food and incredible people. Let’s talk about the stars of the show: The Chicken Over Rice and the Chicken Cutlet. These aren't just deli staples; they are legendary. The chicken cutlet is perfectly breaded, crisp, and juicy every single time, whether you get it on a fresh hero or enjoy it solo. And the chicken over rice? Forget about it. This is a father and son establishment. I’m a fellow New Yorker. I am so happy to find a store that makes sandwiches like New York. Nowhere in NJ is as good. They have Boar’s head deli meat. They have every chip and beverage you can find. But the most important thing is the hospitality. They smile they great you, it’s clean, and they there’s also a ATM. They accept all forms of payment including EBT. You will have to pay for parking. Please feed the meter. It’s not worth it. The parking police are always there hiding.
