Court Square Cafe

This was a nice surprise. I had seen posts stating it was a.good place to visit. So today, I payed the Court Square Cafe a visit. And I wasn't disappointed. I had the Chicken BBQ pizza. The pickled red onions added a delicious tast to the pizza. And the sweet tea was true brewed tea. Will stop again next time I'm in town.

I ordered Scrambled eggs and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Food was delicious . Some of the best homemade biscuits and gravy Ive eaten in a restaurant. Service was spot on friendly informative about the menu. Ive eaten the pizza they have and it is delicious as well. Price for food was more than reasonable and I had a special moca latte coffee serv3d in the perfect cup. Coffee drinkers know about a perfect cup!!! I enjoyed everything about my visit and I will return and support the local small town Cafe.

Me and a buddy stopped in here for dinner on a Thursday night after a 2 day float trip on the eleven point. We just shared a sausage and pepperoni pizza and it was really good and cooked to a nice crisp on the edges. My buddy bought some of the bread on the counter and that was really good and I could see making a sandwich outta some of that. I just had water but my friend really enjoyed the iced tea. The pizza didnt take long and we got to chat with Thomas the owner for a bit. They serve breakfast also which is something maybe ill try if back down there again. I know me and my buddy are talking about a longer float trip so on the eleven point so im sure ill keep this in mind. The small alton missouri town square is nice to wonder around a bit if your from a big city.

Came in from Thayer. Well worth the drive. The breakfast sandwich was to die for! Absolutely excellent. All of the ingredients are either made in house or sourced from local farmers. Chef is the owner and still does things the right way that make food great. Wish there was a rating higher than Five stars! Seriously recommend to anyone!!

Absolute gem of a restaurant!! Do not miss! The pizza is so good, clearly made with heart and lots of care. Really friendly warm feeling and so welcoming to newcomers. Definitely make the stop while in town, you won't regret it! Try the BBQ pie and the lemonade.
