Let me start by saying if SIX stars was an option County Smoak would easily get it. Real people making real food, putting their heart into it, and the people are wonderful. From the moment we arrived, taking our order, a quick tour of the smoke house, and even being offered a taste of an additional side, everyone we encountered only added to the absolute magic of this place. Now about the food. I had the pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Yes all of that, I don’t need your judgement. Everything was absolutely divine, and cooked to pure perfection. What stood out the most was the Mac and cheese, I would smack my momma for a bowl of it. Oh and the additional taste I was offered was the greens which single handedly changed my view of greens. I had the brisket and the banana pudding and I just and the brisket was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces are very delicious as well! I ended up going back up to order the banana pudding and it’s the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. They smoke it and use biscoff cookies. Very delicious and well worth the visit! Friendly and helpful staff as well

County Smoak catered our wedding, and we could not be happier with the food and service! The BBQ was absolutely incredible—hands down the best in the Lynchburg area. All of our guests were raving about how delicious everything was. The team was professional, friendly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. On top of that, the price was very fair for the quality and amount of food. We highly recommend County Smoak for any event—you won’t regret it!

Best brisket I've had in many years, possibly ever! Baked beans and banana pudding are Devine. Owner Ken is just delightful and obviously loved by as proven by all the repeat customers. Eat here. It may change your life.
