County Line-Ellenwood Library, DeKalb County Public Library

This is a relatively new library by rougly 5 years. Complete with an open concept with plenty of tall windows allowing much natural light in combination with artificial light. It's an open setting, uncluttered and clear with courteous, attentive and helpful staff. Like a majority of the DeKalb County Libaries, it has nice size meeting spaces with audio visual equipment that seats about 60 people comfortťtably.It is clean and modern. Outside is a peacefully plan landscaoe full with nice shrubs about 3 to 4 feet with even, smooth, lightly curved sidewalks designed to lure you to walk the maze like ornamental plants with a casually calm feel.

Let me say first, we love this place! I usually never have any problems at this library. My children love it as well. There is only one person who gives off an energy like she doesn’t want to be bothered. Today, I returned two learning tablets that I previously checked out for my littles. This lady continuously reprimanded me about ONE charger block I never received. She stated the employees should have been the ones to double check, yet spoke to me like this was my mistake. Once I explained I do not know the protocol, the employees checked the equipment before I even checked them out. I explained I would like to search the library for books and walked away. Once I came back to check out — she continued. After explaining calmly multiple times, she persisted that I should have called to say

Love this Library, especially the blue cubicle desks with plugs, helps you focus on your assignments no distractions. Some of the staff is nice just come with a close container 🫙 if you want to drink water or coffee. Big windows and quiet room that you study in or have a meeting. Very clean repeat very clean bathroom is always clean I appreciate that

Can’t say enough, very engaging staff, helpful, and caring. It’s a pleasure.

New, clean, quite. I like the private study cuby holes, really helps with getting work done.
