Country Kitchen Restaurant

This place is great. For lunch and breakfast. Homey warm atmosphere clean you can tell it’s one of the areas favorite hangouts. The food was great, speed of service was prompt and professional. The only problem was it was the first really cold day outside and the temp in the restaurant was quite cool. Most of the patrons on the west side of the restaurant kept their coats on or put them on half way through the meal.

We needed a place to eat breakfast on our way to Minneapolis from Watertown and this seemed like the most convenient and well-rated place in Hutchinson. The food came out really quick and service was exceptional, I'd say the food was your average diner food and nothing outstanding but it worked for us today! For breakfast, I thought the prices were a little on the high side, but I'm still getting used to the high prices of eating out now anyway 🤷

I'm just frustrated and honestly particularly my fault because I have a hard time speaking up for myself. I used to come here as a kid and took my boyfriend with me here today. Service was decent and it was very slow as there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant when we were there. My boyfriend got a burger and fries which he had no complaints on, I got scrambled eggs, sausages links, fruit and hash browns. I'm very cautious when I go out to eat since I've always worked in the food and service industry. I checked my food and found a short black hair under my eggs. Under the eggs that were made wrong. I asked for scrambled and got an omelette. Other than that everything was fine just honestly left me not wanting to come back.

Tipped the cook $5, the eggs were done to perfection. Bacon was perfect. Ate it too fast to take a picture. I’ll be back every time. I’m in Hutch.

Bad breaded mushrooms, can't be fresh and frys that tasted like old cooking oil. Last 3 visit haven't been good. 😧
