Country Fish Fry

I finally decided to stop here and try their fish because every night I would see the line looped around the building. I thought this place must be good. So I get in the extra long line. I am in line for almost 20 minutes. The line was so long the employees came outside to take our order. They did a good job too because when I got up to the window they had my order waiting for me. I told the man at the window I had never eaten there before. He promised me I would return after I tasted the fish. It was a five dollar manager special which was french fries hush puppies and fish. Save your money and fry your own fish. This place was a big disappointment I don’t know if its at the time we came but the food was awful. The fish were a bit soggy and very tasteless plus full with bones ; nothing was noted on the menu about there being bones. Plus the fries were unseasoned and extremely hard. The only thing that had taste were the hush puppies but they were overcooked.

My sister turn me on, to this spot last week. It was worth the wait. The food was delicious, had the Sinker meal. The price was right. I will visit again next time, that I am in town.

Waited in line 30mins during the lunch rush. I thought, well at least the food would be hot fresh, I was totally wrong. My wife got a Sinker and I got the Sampler. Everything we used to love about this place has changed. The hushpuppies were not good anymore and both of our fries were old and cold, my deviled crab was not done, and they had no flounder or slaw. We weren't informed about the slaw until we got to the window to pay. The condiment cups where a quarter full. We gave them $35 for what I feel like was two plates of garbage. We have been going there for years but no more. We're. Done.
