Cotton's Seafood of Lincolnton

Never had a bad meal or experience. The fish is always great. I travel 40 minutes just to eat here. You get a lot for the price. Go in hungry. Broiled catfish is good too. Doesn't have the fishy taste catfish usually does. Nice and buttery flavor.

Cottons is one of Lincolnton’s hidden gems. The building is small and unassuming making it easy to miss when driving by. But it is worth stopping in for a good meal with the old time fish camp feel. While the dining room is small, it is clean. And the waitresses check on you without being annoying. I waited about 25 minutes to get my food and I’m glad I did. The food is great and the serving portions are large. I got the seafood platter with baked potato and green shrimp. The total bill was $21.55 since I paid with cash. Credit card was abt. $1.50 more. Not a bad price for good food with large portions.

Tried this restaurant for the first time a month or two ago and we were amazed at how great it was. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I've tried about everything so far and it's been great. Highly recommend. Seating inside with great service too.

I ordered salt and pepper catfish on the bone, small order, no salt and pepper when they set my plate down, baked potato was cold, 15.50 for 5 greasy mushy fish. My husband ordered small order of fantail shrimp, he got 6 shrimp and let me say Seapack grocery store shrimp are better quality than his were and they were way overpriced any 15.25, needless to say I will never go back for overpriced low quality food.
