This place is something special! The food, service, and atmosphere were awesome. When you walk in the door you know this place is different in a very very good way. Even though the building is historic the restaurant is very modern and comfortable. The design and artwork matches the historic feel of the building. When we walked in we were greeted by multiple employees and a table was cleared for us promptly. This was a very busy night, It was during the Glendale chocolate affair that takes place across the street. Madi, our server, promptly got us waters and took our drink orders. When it was time to order she let us know they were out of certain items because of the busy night, but she helped us navigate through the menu to find dishes we were interested in. Glendale Cornish Pasty was probably the best as far as ambiance and service. I have been to all but the Jerome location and this location became one of my favorites with the downtown Phoenix location still on the top. The pasties were delicious, I had the pork apple, my husband loved his avodado. The sticky toffee pudding was spectacular! I love this place! Good Job Cornish Pasty Co. This location was a great move!

We’ve been champing at the bit (and the crust!) for the downtown Glendale location of Cornish Pasty Co. to open, and the wait was 100% worth it. The space is beautifully dialed in - from cozy carpet to vintage ballroom chandeliers - warm, inviting, and full of Old World character. Now, as far as the food - no half-baked bites here! From the apps - leek soup and Tandoori wings - to the legendary pasties, it’s aaaallll superb and dangerously easy to over-order, ha ha. We’re thrilled to have this spot in walking distance and will be frequenting it often. Also, highly recommend to locals and Valley-wide food lovers alike. In town for a show. My partner and I agreed, these pasties were the best thing I've eaten in a long time, and I had eaten a really good beef Wellington a few days before. We had the Guinness meat filling and the chicken tikka masala. Each bite included incredibly well seasoned filling and perfectly crispy flaky buttery crust. We also got the liver pate, which was delicious and well seasoned as well if you like liver pate. Pasties were a good size. Even the reheated leftovers were incredible the next day. This place is a gem. They also look like they have billiards tables and darts in the back with a bar. The food was spot on. The beers were tasty. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant looks beautiful. Just come here eat and hang out! I'm very happy knowing that I got my very own Cornish pasty to go to now in downtown Glendale. I remember years ago eating in that tiny little sliver of a restaurant in Tempe, and countless nights at the downtown Phoenix location, sometimes just going there because I know it's going to be one of the only places open late and sometimes going there to sit and drink in a dimly lit restaurant. In my opinion every place should be dimly lit. I'm going to say something controversial but after burritos it's my next favorite Arizona food. So needless to say I'm a full and happy boy and I hope Glendale supports them and I can come here for many many years.
