Corner Piazza

Like its name says, the Corner Pizza is at the corner of NY55 & NY32 about 4 miles north of Barryville on Rt97. Out of the way? Maybe. Worth the trip? Definitely! Run by a pair of twin brothers, this open air pizzeria, offers a selection of delicious pizzas topped with locally grown tomatoes, peppers and other toppings and cooked in their wood fired oven. They have an extensive offering of bottled beer as well as soft drinks, tea and the like. Seating is limited to less than 10 tables and another half dozen bar height seats at the kitchen bar and when the place is busy the wait for food can be long.

Wish was open everyday!! The Pizza is delicious!! Plain and margarita is my favorite!! My new favorite place! Living upstate it's hard to find good pizza and super close to me in Glen spey. Also heats back up GREAT for leftovers! Wish I went sooner

I can’t say enough about this place. The quality of the pizza, the attention to detail.l, and best of all Lou and Frank. They’re two incredible people and we were so grateful to have met them over their delicious pizza. We highly recommend this place. 5 🌟

We arrived 10 minutes before opening. The fire was hot and ready to go. I called the phone and was greeted by an unfriendly woman who told us to come across the street to the ice cream shop. I saw that she had beer in the cooler and thought I would buy one, a 32 oz container. I had a few sips and then saw the owner taking the chain down from the entrance so we gathered our things and walked across the street. We were met at the entrance where he practically shouted at me for carrying the beer over. Two rude experiences and we hadn’t even sat down yet. I don’t care how good the food was. This place will never get a dime from me. I set the beer down by the entrance and left. Found a nice place 8 miles north on the lake.

Old world wood fired pizza. I have never had any better. Lou is such a great guy and I always feel at home there. This pizza is so good it is unbelievable. If you go there try the meatballs as an appetizer you won't be disappointed.
