Corner Cafe

This is a great small town cafe with scrumptious food that comes in huge portions. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. This is my favorite place since I moved here.

I would give zero stars if possible. HORRIBLE customer service from the young blonde working 2/25/26 . Horrible attitude. I ordered two burgers, both were made wrong. And the French fries were undercooked and tasted like fish. She admitted she took the order down wrong, (ok, people make mistakes) but refused to make it right. And Refused to refund any monies. She asked me to bring the food back. I told her it was already in a the dumpster at caseys, and I wasnt digging in that trash or making a drive back to Collinsville just to bring it back to her. Its inconvenient and I was already ordering food elsewhere. She had already admitted she took the order down wrong. Why do you need the food back if you already know it wasnt made correctly??? Hmmm? I've been here a few times, and the service has been great every time. The food was great sometimes and others just ok.

First time here. We stopped in for lunch around 1:00 pm. There were only 3 other people in the restaurant. It was a ghost town. The waitress wasn’t the best but she did get our order right. We both ordered hamburgers. The hamburger patty was very thin, small in size and dry. The tomato slices were thicker than the burgers. I would not order again. The tater tots (which you had to pay a dollar extra) looked good on the outside but were a grease ball on the inside, uneatable. I would not order again. Overall I didn’t care for the food. We won’t be going back.

Genuinely terrible, I don’t leave bad reviews of food. The French dip is a naked pile of what appears and tastes like canned beef on a bun that evaporates, the beef drippings are pure fat. Everything is unseasoned, nothing is as expected. The beans are just naked. It’s awful!
