We tried the jumbo lump crab gratin, Cajun style oysters, angry lobster spaghettini, lemon rosemary half chicken, the crab cake, Brussel sprouts for the table, and the apple galette for dessert. Everything was delicious. Best dishes were the angry lobster and half chicken (might’ve been the best chicken I’ve ever had. The chefs were on point that night!) The service was also great, I would recommend trying!
I will definitely be back here. The restaurant is a nice size and nice atmosphere, the service was very good, and most importantly the food was amazing. I came for a friend’s birthday dinner on a snowy Friday night with a large party. The staff were super accommodating and everyone loved their dishes. One of our friends is allergic to all seafood (bless her heart) but they carefully catered to her, preparing dishes safe for her to eat and placing cute little flags in each appetizer and entree so it was clear what she could and could not have. I had the lobster spaghettini and I cleaned my plate! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.
Love this place, food selections were numerous. Wanted to try everything and tried to do so. Experienced the charcoal chicken thighs, whole rockfish, fresh oysters on the half shell, grilled calamari, ahi tuna, grilled french toast(that’s right grilled), steak & eggs. Service was excellent. Ambience was delightful.
I had a solo dinner on a Saturday night and had a great experience. Recently I tried Sunday brunch with 2 other friends. Overall the food was good but they were out of the crab Benedict option and some of the bottomless drinks. Moral of the story I think is to aim for an earlier brunch before options run out. Otherwise the frittata was good and the brunch burger was average. The fogcutter by far was the best drink we tried with the bottomless options. The place wasn’t packed but the servers got our food/drinks confused a few times with a nearby table which wasn’t an issue ultimately but felt like they were just having on off day. I’ll probably check out brunch another day
Love this place. Have been here three times, twice at the bar for lunch and once for dining. Service is superb, everyone serving us has been extremely friendly. The food is some of the best we've had in DC, and definitely the best spot for seafood. I adore the grilled oysters and they just added two new types to the menu - to die for! I'm honestly surprised it's not packed all the time but they do have ample seating.
