I visited the Cordelia Greene Library on April 22nd while doing the OWWL Library tour. It's nicely situated along a main road in Castile, NY and is a lovely old building from the road. The brick and stone are warm and welcoming. The librarian working there was friendly and invited me to look around. What you can't see from the road is that they've undertaking an extensive addition/renovation on the back of the building. After walking around the historic structure, you go through a doorway and see a huge two-story open space with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling bookcases on both levels. Absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful gem in the OWWL system!
Library is guiet! Grate for studying and reading a book. Very nice Librarian and helpful.
I have been going to this library for several years. Staff is always warm and friendly.
