Copper Mill

We were visiting from Chicago and had lunch at Copper Mill with the family. I was really impressed with the food here. The cheese curds and fried mushroom apps were amazing. (Forgot to take the pic of that). I had the grilled salmon and husband got the smokehouse burger. Both were fantastic! Everything was fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere inside is fine. They had a really cute outdoor patio that would be great for a nice day! Definitely coming back on our next visit!

Sunday lunch time. Seated upon entry. Very helpful waitress. Ordered burgers and beers. Atmosphere was upscale sports bar. Lots of family. Menu with lots of options. The burgers were well prepared the baked potatoe fries very good.

we had 5:00 reservations. they showed us our table right away. Amelia our server was wonderful. food could have been a little warmer. overall it was a great time. we will definitely be back.

I wanted to order their burger with no special requests to see what the chef was up to and if they could actually cook meat. He can. Whoever it was 100 percent can. I got it rare and it was perfect, I took half home; it reheats to a perfect medium the next day in the air fryer. That makes this place my number one recommendation if you want a burger to go and need to reheat it later to get the crispy bun. I loved how they gave an option to have garlic mashed potatoes instead of fries for the meal, I can airfry frys like nobody's business and im sick of them, so having mashed potatoes was nice because any real chicken tender lover knows you dip the tender in the mash potatoes not sauce. I didn't eat it but my table ordered ma n cheese and it came out hot and creamy and looked perfect too,

Waited 45 minutes for someone to wait on us - even though we had a reservation. I know they were busy but - still..... No chicken dishes on a Saturday night. We were told they had run out of chicken. I would expect better stocking of the kitchen. Opened the inner door "because the customers in the back" were warm. Well, we were seated by that door and it was very cold! I was really looking forward to trying Copper Mill because I had heard good things but will not be back. The only reason I gave them a "3" is because my family said the food was good.
