Copper Kettle Cafe

Ive been to Copper Kettle several times. Always perfect and yesterday was no exception. Chef D'Angelo's cuisine is best described as innovative comfort food. He consistently delivers exceptional food at neighborhood friendly prices. The service was flawless, provided by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable young woman. BUT.. it was a rainy Tuesday night, 48 hours before Thanksgiving. My wife, recovering from a hip injury waited inside the restaurant while I got the car, Chef D'Angelo sat with my wife then helped her to the car in the pouring rain. I am sure he had an enormous prep schedule for the upcoming holiday. Still, he took time out to sit then help my wife. First time eating here since moving to the hood a few months ago. Been meaning to come here for a while and I was not disappointed. I had the eggplant meatballs as an app. Not bad at all, but the corn garnish was not needed (corn was on everything on the menu rn). Strange taste with tomato sauce. The orrechiete with lamb was terrific! Really balanced and the orrechiete was super fresh. Recommended. If you're tall like me, avoid sitting at the bar, it's cramped, especially during a busy service, you'll get bumped in to. Only two service staff for small place, but they did a great job, no long waits for anything and they were rolling. I look forward to going back!

One of my favorite spots in the entire world. Their food selection is diverse and their ingredients are fresh. The staff and chefs are polite. The ambience of the restaurant is indescribable. If you have not tried copper kettle, please do or forever regret it.

I will give 3 1/2 stars. This is a cute little place, staffs are attentive. We were here once for lunch and the dishes were better. The dinner we had recently, the food a bit bland in taste but cooked well. But maybe a one off, love to support small business.
