Wait staff spends too much time with locals. Got our food, then couldn't get waitress back to table, even for coffee refills. Chicken fried was good, breakfast hamburger steak was literally rotten. Mentioned when leaving (see waitress comment) and got a "sorry". No refund offer or...

Besides the litteral crazy person with a hospital band on, grunting & screaming, it was a great place for breakfast. Hands down, the BEST chicken fried steak, just like the sign said! Lightly breaded, seasoned, and the portion was huge! Played a few keno games before eating. It was nice, just wasn't any theme to the place.

Great food for affordable prices. At times had to wait for a server to take our order. Food came out as ordered and portions were bigger than I had thought they would be. Great place for a nice bite to eat at a great price.

We stopped in at this place for breakfast on 7/19/21. The prices are reasonable and the menu had something for everyone. I loved the decor and the hometown diner feel. Once we put our order in, we heard another gentleman complain to the waitress that he had been waiting an hour for his food. The waitress kindly told him "there is only one cook making all the food for everyone.". We ended up waiting 40 minutes for the food to arrive which was hard when you have two hungry and bored kids. Being short staffed is never fun and I understand that isn't the fault of the owner. My suggestion would be to put a sign at the entrance letting people know of the long wait times before entering. Perhaps offer the customers the chance to order and come back in an hour since there are lots of neat sh

Down-home cooking that's good and filling in a no-frills, no-nonsense atmosphere. These are all things that I love, and it's meant to be a positive review.
