Finally I was able to find good jamaica food in the area, ordered the oxtail, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, beef patties and Coco bread. All very good. I will be back.

Ms. Angela is everyone’s favorite auntie and her food is phenomenal!!! Tried her bites at an expo and my taste buds are still happy about it and beaming from the flavors. Can not wait to make our way to her restaurant to see what else greatness she creates! If you’re looking for FLAVOR, a little spice, good portion and perfectly balanced? COME HERE!!

This place should be rated much higher than it is. Their brown stewed chicken may be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth, and the cabbage was phenomenal too. Perfectly balanced spices, tons of flavor, and the chicken was incredibly tender. It's stewed bone-in, so expect some small bone shards. This does seem to be primarily a takeout place. The dining area is tiny, and all the tables and chairs were stacked haphazardly against the wall. I did come in less than an hour before closing, so maybe that was why. The service was fine if unenthusiastic. The quality of the food more than made up for it though. Everyone should try this food at least once, even if they don't think they care for Jamaican food. Phenomenal seems like an understatement.

Food was good and the wait time wasn’t bad 20 minutes for 4 dinner plates and two sides. The plantains were great! The Mac was pretty good. And all of the meat with our meal was very flavorful. My only knock is the portions for the price at $17-$18 per plate there was a lot of rice but not a whole lot of meat. My wife and I split a slice of carrot cake which was phenomenal. I’d go back just for that! All in all good food but a bit of a steep price tag, worth making visit.

First time trying food is very delicious. I travel to Jamaica very often and this food has a very good authentic carrebean flavor. Best in the Waldorf LaPlata area. When I eat jerk you can tell the deference between the Spices.
