Cooksburg Cafe

The lights above the picnic tables, I can only imagine how charming and romantic it is at night. I am not an ice cream fan, but the Better Than Brownie ice cream would have me coming back. The hot dog was that camp hot dog. So basic, but oh, so good. Don't let the long line fool you. The staff hands out that ice cream and food like you wouldn't believe. Beautiful place.

Very nice place to eat great food at a good price, with a view of the water. It can be busy, and at times, there is a wait. A decent amount of parking and an easy to find. Staff are always nice.

Ate lunch here after a canoe trip. It really hit the spot. Fried green beans were perfectly done! All the other food was delicious as well! Great spot to recharge after a 4 mile paddle!

Cooksburg Cafe is a conveniently located place to grab a quick lunch while enjoying the river and the great PA outdoors. They have hamburgers, wraps , sandwiches and other lunchtime favorites. They also serve a large selection of Hershey Ice-cream. There is ample seating - covered and under the trees - to enjoy your food. The staff is friendly and service is fast. I highly recommend Cooksburg Cafe.

Absolutely have to stop here when you're at Cook Forest. Amazing ice cream! We've been going to Cook Forest every summer for the past 15 years, and we go every night for ice cream when we're there. I highly recommend the Cappucino Crunch and Deep Dish Apple! The fries are also amazing! Plenty of seating outside either under the roof or under the stars. One of my favorite places!
