Cook Out

There is no “sit down” option to eat inside. You order, pay, and pick up from outside the building. I was surprised by this. I didn’t come during a high traffic time, but I can imagine it gets very busy and inefficient, especially with competing with the drive- thru. We believe one of our orders from the tray was not correct, as we ordered the same food item from another location, and this one was different. However, the food was to standard of all Cook Outs and we were not disappointed.

Customer service, food, and prices are mid. Not to be expected, but no frills. Cookout used to be decent. For a newer location, the food is subpar. Once you open your balled up aluminum foil and arrange your burger back together, you will see that the patties are very small. Unfortunately, best part about my burger was the onions. The chicken wrap is actually a chicken nugget with 2 pieces of lettuce and pinch of cheese. I cringe to say this, but the fast food burger place across the street may be better choice in comparison.

I visited this location today to get a chicken quesadilla cookout tray and ended up biting down on what seemed like a rock that disintegrated and left flavorless sand in my mouth. I've also heard a lot of negatives about the restaurant's sanitization so it's honestly my fault. From personal experience and after reading many different reviews I strongly believe this cookout doesn't care about food quality and it will vary Wildy depending on who's preparing food and how you interact with them via the intercom unlike the location on Harden st in Columbia who is always professional and diligent. if your ever hungry in Columbia definitely stop by so you understand just how lack luster this location is. 2/10 do not recommend.

Not sure what their definition of a chicken quesadilla is. I got a flat, crepe-looking folded few bites of some cheese. When I opened it up, it looked like a few tiny flecks of chicken or some white meat (see pics). Hot dogs were slathered in mustard. Disappointed.

There always seems to be an issue with anything I ever order from this cook out.... this "chicken & cheese" quesadilla was the last straw. There is 2 BARELY THERE, shreds of chicken, and virtually NO cheese. They pretty much handed me a tortilla and nothing else. I won't be dining here for a LONG while.
