Continental Divide Restaurant

We stayed at the RV park next door and noticed the restaurant was busy every night. We made reservations for 5pm Friday night. Every table inside had a reserved sign and I can see why. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The honey/lavender butter was very good with the bread; the oysters were delicious; my halibut was juicy and had lots of flavor and my husband’s elk loin chops were very good too. We were very happy that we decided to try this restaurant before leaving to our next destination. Thank you for the great service and excellent food!

A Culinary Gem in Ennis! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Continental Divide in Ennis, Montana, and I can confidently say it's one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. If you're a fan of amazing dishes like bison and crab legs…this is the place to be! First off, let’s talk about the bison. It was hands down the best I have ever tasted! Tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, every bite melted in my mouth. The chef truly knows how to bring out the natural flavor—it's a must-try dish! Now, onto the Alaskan crab legs. Wow! They were out of this world! Fresh, succulent, and served with a delicious side …they were simply irresistible. My wife and I couldn't get enough! But what truly set Continental Divide apart was the outstanding customer service. The staff was friendly,

We had the calamari, elk, duck, walleye, and bison. Calamari steaks were very flavorful and tender! Elk was very tender but not seasoned well and had a bland sugary glaze. Duck and walleye were tender and were accompanied with amazing sauces/sides. Waiter informed us the fish was from Canada, but it still tasted great. Bison was a little chewy, not seasoned, and had a bland chimichurri sauce. Outdoor seating was nice with the wind but got very loud with multiple dining guests. Very expensive, but I would return for the calamari, duck and walleye for special occasions.

For being in the middle of no where, i was pleasantly surprised at how fine of dining this was. I would recommend this place to anyone. Food was really good. It had everything you'd expect at a high end diner.

We stop in here ever year when we are in town. Have never been let down. I always get the oyster for an appetizer, and then the duck. So I can’t really vouch for anything else on the menu, but the oysters and duck are heaven on the tastebuds. We had Riley for our waitress this past time. We use to get the pleasure of her serving us at the McAllister, but when we hit that place this year is was a completely horrid experience all around. So im glad Riley made it out of that place. Anyway, i threw in a video of the bathroom too. A clean bathroom suggests that they keep everything else back in the kitchen top notch. So after checking out the bathroom (men’s only btw), i give this place 5 stars. The young hostess in the video was also really cool too btw. I didn’t catch her name thou
