Conroy's Bed & Breakfast

Been coming here since 2005 (missed a couple due to other obligations) and wouldn't stay anywhere else.||||The level of care, comfort, and "cuddle" you get from the innkeepers is incomparable. Breakfast is elegant with homemade muffins, fresh fruit; the best coffee in town, and it's all served with love. Rooms aren't huge -- but you're not IN your room much. There's a lovely pool should you need it; beautiful gardens and grounds to get lost in; and warm, homey, friendly atmosphere. ||||It doesn't get any better than this. We're here for business in town each summer -- and wish we could enjoy the stay a little more, but it's always perfect.

We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay recently. Joanne is so gracious, the room was lovely (in the "barn"), and we had a great deck where we enjoyed our lunch and the views. The place is clean, just the right balance of being "up to date" yet having Berkshires charm. Definitely highly recommend. We hope to go back!

Joanne welcomed us warmly when we arrived and showed us to the West Room in "The Barn". We found it spacious with a private bath, deck, and window ac; the heat also worked well when it got colder. In the shared hallway, we found a refrigerator, ironing board and iron that we used; there were also shelves with books and games. We had all the comforts of home. The only draw back was the noisy neighbors overhead - heard them walking around, sliding furniture and talking. I think guests came into the room next to us at 11:00pm, so there was noise involved (to be expected), but they were still talking loudly until 1:00am. Conroy's has ruined me for the ordinary hotel room. Even the most pricey properties at chain hotels do not offer the same warm welcome and ambience. Conroy's is very close to all Berkshire attractions yet feels secluded and very private. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic. Every minute of our stay during four days was marvelous and relaxing.

This was a wonderful place to stay while we toured attractions in the area. Jim and Joanne are very friendly and accommodating. The best part was the morning breakfast. They have tables with elegant china and encourage people to socialize. They are knowledgeable about the attractions in the area. We have a shared bathroom but that was not a problem. If we are in the Stockbridge area in the future, we will return.
