Coney Island Houses

Not Only I've NEVER BEEN INSIDE, let alone Even HEARD OF This Coney Island Houses but as I was passing by, all I heard was some old school jam music playing from the 🎴 inside of the Vacant Coney Island Houses. I'm guessing that the place was open to the public for the summer, because it also looked like a restaurant hangout & Very Neat inside of the C. I. Houses. Several hours later as I heading back to the Amusement Park area from the beach at night, ⛱️🏖️ the Coney Island House was open & I saw some people sitting on the top floor, some on the lower level, & inside of the Houses were just chilling out, some were smoking 🚬 and drinking while listening to the Blasting old school jams that I could Barely hear my own sounds from my earplugs! 😄🎧 The Coney Island 🏝️ Houses 🏘️ atmosphere, looked

I grew up in 3002 Surf Ave and 3028 W 29th St when the Coney Island Houses opened in 1956 to 1969 when I went to Arizona State University. It was a wonderful place to grow up during a different time. There were so many kids in the Big Park, and it was safe. So many great memories.

I grew up here from 1980 to 1993. I lived here during the crack epidemic and two big hurricanes. Coney Island is a lower to middle class neighborhood. Living by the beach is a lot of fun, but if you can help not living here, don't. This area will always have a warm place in my heart, but I'm aware that it's not the best place to raise a family. The schools are bad, I lived there when Marb's was the corner store, The buildings are always in need of maintenance. And it looks like the area has not changed much since I left.

This is my home. The beach and fishing and the cold. Love it.

Fix the projects...How they live on a beach and don't be having water...Terrible...
