Customer Reviews
The Conewago Inn has been on our date night list of restaurants to visit as we cover York County. You have to love the old school historical vibe with the exposed chinked logs and the 50’s tunes humming from the sound system. The service was great, attentive but not rushed, allowing us time to enjoy our meal. Prices were very reasonable. The crab and asparagus soup was outstanding, including the chunks of crab. The chicken Cobb salad was huge. They were out of avocado so the loaded it up with extra bacon and eggs. The salmon was tasty, a nice crispy sear on the outside, buttery texture inside. The homemade bread was a bonus. Worth a stop!
Hidden gem in Manchester. Stopped for an early dinner and had the broiled seafood platter and chicken marsala. Everything was excellent. Delicious crab cakes, tender scallops and a cozy, log-cabin atmosphere. Service was excellent as well. Worth a trip if you’re in the area.
I ordered the 6 oz filet cooked med rare. Toughest piece of meat ever. I couldn't cut it. Tore off a bit, and couldn't chew it. Did not eat it. Scallop potatoes were a dry blob. Broccoli was saturated in low grade balsamic that was bitter. I spent $30 on a meal I did not eat. I ate 1 dinner roll. Service was satisfactory, though staff wasn't trained to answer questions concerning the history of the inn. We paid. Husband said his food was ok. I don't think I will go again.
This place is great. I have never had anything that I didn’t like. Some of the best cream of crab I have ever had. The waitresses are so friendly and totally on top of the service. I would highly recommend this place. Go and check them out.
This place has really good seafood and the fresh cut fries are great as well the only thing I didn't care for was the coleslaw it is sliced thick and has little dressing on it. I prefer the finely shredded type.
