Commerce Township Community Library

We love this library! Fantastic children's area that keeps our toddler engaged and happy. Lots of cubbies and small rooms to get work done in or study if you're a student. There is also a really cool spot near the entrance to buy used books. Overall a fantastic place and a great community hub.

Great library....things for all ages....great kids area,study rooms,and a room for community events,meetings... courtesy and helpful employees....

Hard to believe this well attended medium sized library... on a lovely scenic plot of land.... has such limited hours on a Sunday afternoon (1pm-5pm) in early March. ALL the private study rooms were full. The parking lot had over 40 cars. All this an hour before closing. Novi's library is even open for 6 hours on a Sunday. Four hours seems so limited.

I rarely ever leave reviews on google as I only like to add positive feedback but the Commerce Public Library might be my first negative. To start off- the library itself is great, the books and study areas are nice. The problem is the staff. Specifically a guy that works on assignments of study rooms. He has been rude multiple times to my friends and I for the past year trying to study. One occasion consisted of him demanding we leave the library prior to closing only because it was within 5 minutes of close. He would remember my name my next visit and say with a snarky attitude “you know we close at 9pm SHARP” which is an insane statement to make. Then check on me and my friends at least 4 different times with something to say. I understand that he has a job and I am not a perfect human

I love commerce library, it's so big,they always have things going on for the kids.They have a plant/flower trade/giveaway.. It's so much more than a library!
