Hollandaise Sauce that wasn't: Comet's Diner advertises on their menu their "Bennies" eggs benedict with Hollandaise Sauce, except their "sauce" is some sort of brown gravy instead of actual Hollandaise Sauce. The waitress actually tried to defend the gravy as Hollandaise Sauce. They must think that customers just don't know any better. The coffee was good and the waitress was good about topping it off. But there was no price concession for the bad experience. The eggs were also quite small and the muffins burned around the edges. Hashbrowns were very dry. You shouldn't call it a Hollandaise Sauce if it is not. Bad experience.

This place was nice. The atmosphere was full of james Dean and Marilyn Monroe stuff. Service was ok, but not bad. Food was pretty good. They had biscuits and gravy, which i love to see. It was plenty flavorful, but not so heavy on the sausage. My better half got a basic sandwich with no complaints.

Little gem of a place. The two servers pretty much had to handle all the tables in the whole place, but man they were killing it. Food was great, atmosphere was awesome and like I mentioned the servers worked hard and joked with you along the way. Like stepping back in time. Worth a shot whether a local or outsider like myself.

Great place! The food was really good — I had two burgers, and they were cooked perfectly. The milkshake was awesome as well. A few things I didn’t like were that our table wasn’t cleaned properly, but overall, I would definitely come back again.

One of the Diners I have ever been. Very laid back 70s ambience and wonderful people work there. Very busy place but they find you place as soon as possible. The choices of omlette are excellent. You will leave the plates empty for sure. Gets very busy on weekends. Definitely a place you will visit multiple times if you are a local.
