Customer Reviews
Small restaurant, basically a walkway with tables on the sidewalk and inside. I had the Hoison Pulled Pork Bahn Mi and it was pretty good. Downtown pricing always shocks me and the requested tip 10-20% for a to-go order feels a little extreme... but appreciate having a Bahn Mi option Downtown.
I was hungry and decided to give this close and convenient restaurant a try. It's a small kitchen, where you order food and sit out in the hallway. The broth's sit in metal heaters and not from a hot pot. I ordered the combination pho and the liquid tasted like watered down salted broth, there's no fish sauce and overall it was not to my liking. I would not go back here nor recommend this place if your looking for more authentic Asian pho. The service was however, quick.
This will always be one of my favorite “hole in the wall” places in Minneapolis. The food is sooo flavorful with healthy ingredients. It stands out entirely on its own from other Vietnamese food joints I go to. The only possibility for improvement would be for them to be open on weekends so I can come in more often 🤣 🙏
I've been here 2-3 times & it used 2 be pretty good but 2day I ordered a seafood pho & added chicken for $2 more but was pretty upset when I got home & saw there was NO chicken & I added a $3 tip for a carry out order. Aside from that, there was less than a handful of noodles & more stems from the cilantro than actual cilantro. Seems like the quality & quantity has gone down. Sadly this will b my last visit.
I had the Jerk Chicken Bahn Mi and wow was it delicious. The bread was crunchy and soft. The flavors all worked well together and it even had a nice little kick. If I lived nearby I could definitely see this as a regular lunch spot. The building it's in also has some nice vibes old detailed craftsmanship.
