Colonial Capital Bed & Breakfast

We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before this. We loved our cozy room named "The James". The house is beautiful and the owner, Kathryn, was so welcoming and nice. She cooked us a different delicious breakfast every morning (5 mornings) and she even catered to my husband's gluten free diet. I can't recommend this place enough!!

The unique charm of this lovely home made all of us feel as if we were staying at a favorite relative's home! Each room has its own themed decor! We felt so much at home, our room was a pretty pale yellow just like our room at home! The bed in the James room was comfortable, the bathroom quite accommodating for two people to maneuver. Kathryn, the owner is very sweet and hospitable. She gave us a great breakfast every morning to start our day off just right! We went December 4 thru 8 and the Grande Illumination was on Dec.7th, quite spectacular! My daughter and husband came up from Wake Forest, NC and we toured Colonial Williamsburg together, such a great gift for my daughter's birthday and Christmas present for them! My husband and I loved our three-night stay at The Colonial Capital Bed & Breakfast in June as we attended a formal family wedding at William & Mary Alumni House. The home is beautifully decorated, and the breakfast the innkeeper, Kathryn, cooked each morning was absolutely scrumptious.|Our second-floor room had a lovely balcony, which we sat on every day as we enjoyed looking out over the beautifully landscaped property with gorgeous crepe myrtle and magnolia trees. The location was perfect, as we were able to walk to the wedding and also into town to enjoy the great choice of restaurants and the quaint town of Williamsburg.|It could not have been better!!

We spent 3 nights at this charming B&B which is a short walk from the centre of Colonial Williamsburg. The house is attractively furnished in traditional style befitting Williamsburg. Our twin room was a decent size with wash handbasin in the room and compact shower/lavatory separate. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning effective. The lovely owner, Kathryn, prepares excellent cooked breakfasts which varied every day. I consider that this B&B is good value for money and would happily return.

A wonderful bed and breakfast in the heart of it all in Williamsburg. Our host Kathryn made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The breakfasts were delicious and well thought out. Beautiful interior decor and landscaping. We cannot wait to return!
