⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Saturday Night Vibe! ​If you’re looking for the perfect spot in Ft. Lauderdale to kick off your weekend, Colombian Mountains Cafe is it! We went this past Saturday night and the energy was absolutely electric. Between the perfect lighting, the themed decor, and the live karaoke/music, it’s easily one of the best "vibes" in town. ​The Food (10/10 Delicious) ​The flavors here are bold, authentic, and incredibly rich. We started with the patacones with guacamole and chicharrones—the crunch and freshness were the perfect opening act. ​For the main course: ​Churrasco Steak & Fried Yucca: My wife’s steak was cooked to perfection. ​Chuleta Caleña: I had this with rice, Colombian beans, and salad. It was massive and packed with that traditional home-cooked soul. ​The Service ​A

I had a great experience at Colombian Mountain Cafe. The food was outstanding and the portions were impressive. The skirt steak was cooked medium-rare to absolute perfection. Tender, flavorful, and exactly how it should be done. You can tell they take pride in their grill. I also tried their Slam Slaminade, which is basically a mountain of lemonade and ice cream. It’s huge, refreshing, and one of the most fun drinks/desserts I’ve had in a long time.On top of that we had rice pudding and a massive hot dog, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. Camila is the best waitress! She is very nice and personal and helpful. As a former server and current doctor, I haven’t seen this amazing service from someone in a long time. Also, Jaime is amazing! He comes around and checks on you to make sure all is well and speaks highly of the whole staff! The strawberry 🍓 lemonade is super delicious! Also, the chicken soup and the arepa 🫓 de choclo con queso 🧀 is suuuuuuper delicioso!!!! The Red Snapper is plated so nice. Perfectly cooked and crunchy outside and soft inside. The presentation is divino! My wife is a Colombian chef and she highly approves of this place. 💯 percent recommended and will come back!

The location hS a large dining room and 4 tables for 4 each on the sidewalk. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The whole (fried) fish (see photos) comes with 3 sides and is enough for a lunch for 2 people. The fish is exceptional. We also had green plantain "pancakes" that were tasty. For a total of $50 (which included a discretionary 20% tip), the price offers great value.

Jaime greeted us with a big smile and asked us how he could serve us. It was our first time eating columbian food. He helped us navigate through the menu. Patiently helping us understand and placing our order. the food was so delicious with many flavors and textures. The columbian coffee was the best coffee in the universe.
