Colombian Flavors

This was our first visit to The Porch after seeing the very high overall rating (4.9 stars), so we came in with positive expectations. We arrived at 11:30 AM and were the only customers in the restaurant the entire time. Our order was taken quickly, but the service afterward felt unorganized and lacked attention to customer details. After placing our order, two women went into the kitchen to help cook while one man remained seated, playing on his phone. They later prepared food for themselves, and their food came out at the same time as ours. Meanwhile, we waited about 36 minutes just to receive our drinks, and our food arrived around 12:06 PM. It’s decent Arepas shell was good but filling can do better on seasoning. It had a sweet sauce inside which wasn’t upto to my taste Empanadas good but mostly filled with mash potato. Not the regular yellow empanadas as in Colombia. Overall good.

This place was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the beef and chicken Rellenos. He had the wings and I had the Mixed Arepas. Both were fantastic. Talk about FLAVORFUL!! And the Coconut Limeade was purely thrust quenching. I enjoyed every aspect of this place! Highley recommended. Service was a tad slow since we were the only people there, however we shouldnt put a rush on the deliciousness in this authentic columbian food.

Fantastic place. The woman working the front was exceedingly friendly. She had such a good attitude that I think if I were having a bad day prior to my arrival, it would cheer me up immediately. I got the stuffed arepa and a beef empanada. Both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and came out piping hot. Highly recommend if you're looking for a different spot for lunch.

I absolutely love this place!!! I go here way to often and I'm not even afraid to admit it. If you haven't tried the food here you're missing out! The lady cooking is extra sweet and kind and the atmosphere of The Porch (business it is inside of) is the bomb and I absolutely can't wait until spring/summer to enjoy the vibes. Def don't miss out on this hidden gem! 💎
