College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA) at UT Arlington

Watching my daughter working so hard as a student researcher and doing what she suppose to do to being harassed and terminated for no reason was heartbreaking. She seeked help before it got to this point but she was ignored. They are only seeing one side of the story and not listening to anything she is saying. Lies are being told and they are making her out to be the instigator when it was the other way around and apparently this has been happening for awhile. They are suppose to be looking out for the students and protecting them. They would not want anyone treating their close ones the way they are treating these young hard working students. I am so disappointed in the staff and faculty at this school for allowing this to continue to happen. You should always treat others as you wou

My Daughter goes to UTA for Architectural Program. Lately, she has been working really hard especially with project assignments. Last night she stayed up all night to complete the assignment. She returned home frustrated, discouraged with her work not getting recognized by the teacher. I am afraid she will loose hope with frequent shocks like this. When I did my engineering (in East Coast) we had different challenges but not the one she is facing. Today she said most students did not even complete the assignment as it was very time consuming and require lots of detail work. I believe there should be follow up session with students after each assignment to make students aware of their mistakes and area where they need improvements especially the early years into the Program. The public administration and public policy programs are very good, both online and on-campus. Excellent professors with real-world experience that care about their students. Great library as well for studying.

If you are looking for interior design course, do not go to this school of architecture in UT Arlington. Faculty and staff treat them as unwanted students and are always looked down upon Comparative to architecture students. They are given last priority for assignment of classes. Overall I will not recommend this school for Undergraduation in Interior Design course.

Do ot go here, you will get mugged and robbed...if not by the surrounding denizens, then by the crooks running the school. THANKS FOR JACKING UP PRICES AND BUILDING EXPENSIVE BUILDINGS THAT WE THE STUDENTS DID NOT WANT. Here's an idea, how about instead of free games to the stupid arena your building, give us free printing.
