Cold Harbor Seafood & Market

This was my first visit, and I was really impressed. It’s a cool little spot that sells fresh fish and offers a rotating daily menu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the lobster roll, fish tacos, and shrimp tacos, and all three were absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Parking is limited and the hours are somewhat restricted, but it’s clearly popular because it’s always busy. Overall, it’s a great place and definitely worth checking out. I can see myself becoming a regular.

This place is amazing. The hardworking staff here are so incredibly kind and personable. Seeing how they interact with customers and know so many by name is incredible. Very high level of attention to detail and amazing seafood. Can't recommend this place enough.

Love Cold Harbor! Best fish monger around. The fish is always so fresh and delicious. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Highly recommend if you're looking for rhe highest quality, freshest seafood around! The inside space is very tight with their newer layout and parking is tricky at best. I can only get there on my lunch break, which seems to be a hectic time to go, and it takes time to get through there- that would be my own downside comment, everything else is great. Just make sure you have plenty of time and patience when you visit!

UPDATED REVIEW: I think with the 2024 season, Cold Harbor had come to the decision that their hot food preparation was overwhelming the operation, and so the establishment refocused on what they do best -- a purveyor of fresh seafood. There are no more hot sandwiches or chowder. However, they have amazingly fresh and tasty seafood for you to pick up and cook at home. This season, I had perhaps the best piece of swordfish I've ever prepared -- I'd cooked it to the perfect temperature, and every bite was juicy and buttery. In addition, Cold Harbor has a variety of pre-made salads and heat-and-serve dishes. The exact list of grab-and-go dishes they have rotates, but you can consistently find their delicious clam chowder and lobster roll "kits" with a generous serving of lobster meat. So, h

Your google review Yelena Podgayevskaya isn’t fair. Perhaps you’re new in the area, not familiar with the fish market or not on social media but they close for a very short winter break every year. A well publicized “shoutout” was posted well in advance both on their outside signage and on many social media platforms. Not an overnight decision. You just weren’t aware. Still, no reason for a poor star review. Please consider removing your post. It’s the right thing to do. Thank you.
