I found this place from, where else, Google. The fresh pasta reviews caught my attention. I ordered a dinner size Caesar salad, the baked rigatoni with meatballs a glass of their house chardonnay. Most of your reading this will undoubtedly, be from this area and be used to Old Forge style italian food. Old Forge is the unofficial pizza capital of the world. Oooof, the world? Maybe Pennsylvania. Old Forge style, in part, means it's loaded with melted mozzarella on top. What could be wrong with that? I just feel it's too much of a good thing. The rigatoni may not have been fresh pasta and was a little aldente for my taste. The meatballs were spot on and the Caesar salad was a solid 8 out of 10. The helping size was huge and I definitely had a go bag to take with me. Morga
1st time trying as I live out of state. Got a par-baked & a baked tray of red. A little thick but so delicious. Will def go back & highly recommend
Been several times. Food is amazing no matter what you get. They also serve an over abundance portion at an extremely reasonable price. We always have leftovers. Service is as if you are the only ones there. Suggest sitting outside on the deck if you can. Great vibes! Only downside is parking is insane so I also suggest you try to buddy up if you’re meeting someone there, try less busy time or be prepared to wait for someone to leave.
Not the best first impression. I grew up with Colarusso’s in Avoca and Clark Summit. I know the family well and went to school with all the kids. This place is a very nice restaurant, very clean, aside from the flies in the dining room. Our service was very subpar and our server had only two tables. First, they refuse to split a check, for a small party. I’m a restaurant manager and I agree splitting for a large party is annoying, but really you can’t split a check two ways for a small party?? This was not advertised anywhere on the menu, thankfully we asked at the beginning. In today’s restaurant climate I don’t think anyone is in the position to say no to a guest, unless the request is unethical or not possible. My drink sat empty from the time we got our apps til after I got my dinner.
I suggested this place to a friend as we were in the area .it had been good in the past. It took me 3 xs of asking for a bread basket as we were hungry and only one order of clams came out although we ordered two ( I admit my friend may have confused the waitress) the calamari was tuff and rubbery I took a pic even to compare to other places we've had and it tasted like old oil and over cooked obviously tuff to chew.. we sent back but later was told because there an hour from closing they won't refire but will take it off the bill.. so we agreed as we ordered 6 cut of pizza 8$ or so one glas of 9 oz wine and two orders of steamed clams 55$ did not add up but my friend didn't look at the bill breakdown.. something did not add up.. granted I didn't know this till after we left ..I left a 5$
