Coffee Slingers Roasters

After grabbing a cup to go from the automobile alley location last weekend for the first time, I realized there was a location in Yukon not far from my house. I invited my husband out for a Valentine's coffee date which was fun to go to this new spot for us. I will say everything we got was delicious, however it is definitely high quality, smaller portions. All drinks are 12 oz. My husband's latte with no syrup flavors was yummy coffee & my London fog with the housemade blackberry orange lavender syrup was equally as good. The Ham & Swiss Danish had extremely buttery flaky pastry, exactly what one should find in a croissant, and I will be going back for the Lorraine Quiche for sure! Keep in mind they are more of a snack portion than a full blown meal. We both went in hungry, not sure what

The mochas were good quality. My wife and I both had one and enjoyed the flavor. It is our go-to drink any time we visit a new shop. We tried this place out because our usual local shop was having their espresso machine repaired. The atmosphere inside was lively, and the staff were friendly. It was clear that both customers and employees were enjoying their time in the shop. That said, I struggled to give above 3 stars overall because the value for size of the coffee. Vacca charges $5.50 for a large and Coffee Slingers charges $5.55 for what I'd consider a small. As a consumer, I am looking for the right balance of quality and value. I genuinely hope Coffee Slingers succeeds, but I do not anticipate returning, as I may not be their target customer.

This is our new favorite spot! The drip is the best I've had...anywhere. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and fun. The coffee is roasted in-house!

Finally, a coffee shop in Yukon that knows what a traditional cappuccino is!!! And it was SO good!!

This is a cool looking little place. I’m not too impressed by the coffee, though. I ordered an Americano with milk. It was small and came out lukewarm. I also ordered a hot turkey and cheddar danish which was equally tepid. I’m disappointed. I like to support local businesses and I really wanted to like this place, but it was pretty mid.
