Cochrane Rockville Branch Library

We love our Rockville Library! Everyone there is so kind and helpful, and they’ve always been so sweet to my kids when they ask for book recommendations. Their bags for kids during the pandemic quarantine helped keep our kids sane during a scary and hard time for them. This library and the people who work there really are so special.

The BEST possible library experience. Staff is always beyond friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a title, they will help any way possible to transfer from another library or even inter-library loans from far away places. The children's area is well-stocked and inviting. Lots of fun craft kits to pick up or online class opportunities. An absolute institution in the Rockville community!!

Story time was lots of fun, and plenty of bubbles for everyone to play with.

It's organized, quiet and has a nice atmosphere to it. I walked in and took one of the private study rooms that they had open so I could study. After being in there for 10mins, one of the librarians comes knocking and let me know that i had to make reservations in future. 5mins later, someone else comes in and asks if they had given me a card to show my time (time spent in the study room) and i say no. She leaves then comes back with the 1st lady and at this point am done so i pack up my nursing books and leave. Like really, you'd think they would update everyone on the changes they make and at least respect my time and space because i really wasn't aware and just needed some quiet time to study for my test.

This place is fantastic. They encourage Pokemon go players. They have a fantastic kids area, a great little conference room, and the librarians are Super polite and helpful. This is what I believe ever great library should be like.
