Coast Kitchen

This was our second visit to Coast Kitchen! We came here two years ago to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and returned earlier this month for mine. The setting is beautiful, the restaurant has lovely coastal views and a charming atmosphere. We ordered the salmon wings, Caesar salad, cioppino, duck entrée, and both the pear & apple crumble and cheesecake for dessert. While everything was nicely presented, I did feel the food was a bit overpriced for what it was, the cioppino, for instance, was about $50 and had only a few pieces of seafood. Still, it’s a nice spot for a special occasion, especially if you’re staying in the hotel or looking for a scenic dining experience.

The main highlight of this restaurant is definitely the view. Service and food are good, no complaints there. You can order your meal in the lobby and enjoy the atmosphere by the fireplace, or sit outside in the fresh ocean air. After lunch you can walk around the hotel property — very peaceful, very atmospheric. A great spot to relax and take in the scenery.

Luna 🌙 at the Coastal Kitchen was super warm & friendly early in the AM too! We came down for breakfast & I was happy to see they had gluten free bread. In house berry jam was delicious. ✨

I recently dined at Coast Kitchen while staying at Timber Cove Resort, and it was a convenient, tasty option right on-site. The burger was a standout—juicy, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. As for the mussels, they were decent but nothing exceptional, a little too heavy on the white wine sauce; I wouldn’t say they’re a must-order. The ocean views and laid-back resort vibe made it a pleasant spot to grab a meal after exploring the coast. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s a great stop if you’re staying there—solid food and prime location.

A day trip on the coast. Making stops along Highway 1 to enjoy the views. Coast Kitchen is inside the Timber Cove Resort. Truly a special find. The restaurant has big windows facing the ocean. At sunset, the views are simply fantastic. The menu focuses on seafood. Still, there are land and vegi options. The atmosphere is simple and appropriate for a seaside eatery. The service was great. We selected halibut and squash with pasta. Oh my, what a treat. You pay a little more here. And, it's worth it. A wonderful finish to a beautiful day. Well worth a visit. We'll be back.
