Coast

We decided on Coast for our anniversary dinner while in Hilton Head and we are glad we did. Everything about the evening was a great experience. The view from the patio area is wonderful. As the evening cooled, they were able to drop a clear barrier that blocked the wind without disturbing the view. The food was excellent. We started with hush puppies. The catch of the day was Mahi Mahi. I ordered it blackened and it was cooked perfectly. The salsa for the fish was also very good. We finished with the Coconut Cake and a glass of Tawny Port to conclude a wonderful meal. The service matched the prices. Our server was Logan, and he was outstanding throughout the evening. The experience is worthy of special occasions. We would definitely celebrate here again.

We went here as part of our getaway trip to Hilton head. We were celebrating our anniversary. The host was very gracious and kind, and they were able to get us seating inside, even though we had an outdoor reservation since it was booked a little bit last minute. The food was delicious and really good quality for the price, and the staff made the experience above and beyond even giving us a happy anniversary card, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend the upstairs. It has a really great atmosphere very comfortable for an evening dinner experience.

This restaurant came well recommended. The service was great with a nice seaside decor. The menu offered fresh seafood. I had the Red Snapper on a bed of Basmati rice garnished with hot pickle vegetables. The surf and turf was excellently prepared. The menu offered a great selection of salads and side dishes.

Coast Oceanfront Dining is set in a beautiful area and offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to enjoy the atmosphere no matter the weather. The short rib entrée is a must try. The meat is incredibly tender and full of flavor, paired with delicious potatoes and perfectly sautéed carrots that round out the dish well. Everything on the plate felt thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. The seafood nachos are also a solid choice as an appetizer. The portion is huge and definitely meant to be shared, making it a great option for the table to enjoy together. Overall, Coast delivers good food, generous portions, and a lovely setting that makes for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

I loved my visit - the steamed oysters were simply outstanding. They were tender, juicy, and packed with fresh ocean flavor. Served perfectly hot, they made the meal feel special. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and I left genuinely impressed. I can’t wait to come back.
