Clover Hill Library - Chesterfield Public Library

I like this library. It could use more books and some updates, but it's a nice neighborhood option. I would also like to see more balance in the books that they display and highlight. I have yet to see any conservative or right wing voices represented, but we see plenty from the left. If the library is funded by the public, it should represent both sides and not look like it is an agent of propaganda.

We love this library. There are toys and places for kids to play. They have books and movies for the entire family. The staff is very helpful. I appreciate the large print books.

We applied for our kids’ passports here, and it could not have been easier. They even take the photos for you during your appointment. The process was quick and seamless. Plus, we had fun checking out books afterwards. It was our first time at this branch of the library, and I look forward to returning soon! Other fun things I noticed: there’s a small fish tank, which my toddler enjoyed, an eye spy game was set up at the entrance, and they offer a free jigsaw puzzle exchange. Such a wonderful space!

I Got asked to leaved by an Insecure staff member due to a “code of conduct policy” that isn’t posted anywhere regarding attire. She wouldn’t even let me finish looking around instead of just informing me for the future. You would think I was being a total disruption to the environment instead of just minding my business looking for a book. Went to another library with no problem!
