We picked up the NY-style crumb cake and it was a total hit in our house — the kind you take one bite of and immediately wish you bought two. 😂 I saw a review asking for less crumb and honestly… that made me laugh. Maybe the solution is two versions: one classic, and one with a 75% crumb ratio for the true crumb-cake fans. Because around here, the crumb is the best part! As longtime Vernon residents who still miss Saxony Bakery (iykyk), this crumb cake absolutely holds its own. So good.

Just had the clove brook, and an apple turn over! I have to say the food was the best I’ve had in the area ever! The ladies who took my order were super friendly and made everything exactly how I asked with a smile ! Did I mention it was super affordable also!!! Thank you clove brook for bringing top notch food and service for an affordable price, especially on this frigid cold winter day!

All I can say is, Clove Brook made our wedding day all the more perfect! I met with Kim last September when looking for vendors. Pretty much anyone I talked to in Sussex recommended them. I immediately knew why, as I trusted Kim right away. Leading up to our wedding day, Kim and Rich actively supported us in our decision making. They visited our venue site, and we came up with a plan to make sure the day would go smoothly. And the day went incredibly smoothly! The cocktail hour had both hand outs and a table for people to take food from. Clove Brooks’s staff were incredibly attentive to our guests. Kim said their staff loves working weddings, and it was cool to see how much they all enjoyed it! The dinner was phenomenal! We had a buffet of eggplant rollatini, brisket, penne vodka pasta,

Beautiful exterior and interior. Parking was very limited and could be expanded in a larger lot for dining in. In the past, they screwed up on a custom order I needed for a tricky tray. Great variety of Valentine packaged goods. I happen to mention about the message cookie I was looking for today. “Oh well” response from the worker. She should have appreciated my concern to make note to add for next year’s Valentine’s. Customers are always right, we could be food bloggers w culinary backgrounds.

I drive 30 minutes out of the way to get baked goods here. It's not just baked goods anymore either; the quiches and the dinners are also delightful! I appreciate that they keep most things out on the tables so it's super quick if you just need a few things. The employees are always so helpful and informative too! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
