First Visit to Clocked! – A Total Athens Standout I’m not a local, but after my first visit to Clocked!, I can see why this place is an Athens staple. If you’re visiting from out of town and looking for a spot with character and a killer burger, this is it. The Atmosphere: The vibe hits you the second you walk in—it’s like a retro-future diner with a quirky, sci-fi edge. We grabbed a booth surrounded by vintage posters and checkerboard floors, and the warm red candlelight at the table made for a really cool, laid-back dinner setting. It’s the kind of place that feels unique the moment you step through the door. The Food: Jumbo Deluxe Burger: For my first time, I had to go big. Hamburger was great! We got the Cajun fries! Looked like the fries were rolled in the Cajun! Should be seasoned. Even the waitress said the seasoning was heavy! Be aware if you get the Cajun seasoning! Couldn’t eat many of them, loaded with to much Cajun seasoning!!!!

I REALLY love this for burgers in Athens. The tots are amazing and the house sauce is great! Service was good. It has just the best ambiance. Our server Bella’s was incredible and just all around a great experience!

Every bite felt satisfying and flavorful — from breakfast classics to hearty sandwiches. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal any time of day. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even during busy hours. Clocked! Diner hits all the marks for a great local dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had a great time eating at Clocked. Staff members were attentive and friendly. Also, the peanut butter hamburger, grilled hot dog, and garlic parmesan fries were delicious. We will return for another meal.
