Clementines Creamery East Burke Vermont

For my first time in Vermont, I wanted to try some of the local ice cream. My husband and I are not fans of soft-serve because it’s often made from a commercial mixture and melts quickly. I noticed the popularity of “maple creemies” across the state, and decided to try it here at Clementines Creamery since they use pure Vermont maple syrup. I can’t say that I’ve tried a lot of maple creemies, but I did have one at another local shop after trying one here and I must say, Clementines Creamery had them beat. The ice cream was stacked perfectly on the cone so it would not end up falling to one side, it had a thick and creamy texture, and was served to us ice cold. I was delighted that we didn’t have to rush to keep it from melting and that we could enjoy the natural flavor of maple. Would love

Love stopping here for maple creamies! Not a huge fan of overly sweet ice creams with little flavor, but I find their maple creamies to be well balanced and perfectly textured.

Best Maple Creemees around! Seriously, I’ve had a ton of Creemees across Vt. And these are best. The texture is velvety and the maple flavor is just right, not too sweet, and yet full bodied maple goodness. And the setting by the river is phenomenal. Ride hard, take a dip in the river and grab a Creemee. Life doesn’t get better.

Horrible service. They were out of everything except a few random flavors of ice cream. The girl working there had more important things to do on her phone than to help us. I would skip this place for sure. Don't bother.
