Customer Reviews
Claypit came highly recommended by a friend - we are so glad we had dinner there tonight! I confess that a 30 minute drive from Edmonds on a rainy night was not my first choice, but the food and the service absolutely made it worth it. My husband, daughter, and I ordered way too much food because we wanted to try as much as possible. Nothing disappointed! The Saag paneer was my personal favorite, and the biryani with chicken was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Visited on a friend’s recommendation. The food was really good, especially the Nawabi Korma, which was creamy and flavorful. The garlic naan was also nice. Sai (hope that’s the right spelling!) was friendly, and I had a pleasant visit. I’d like to come back and try other dishes. Recommended👍👍
I stopped by for the weekday lunch buffet around 12:30. At first, I was surprised since we were the only ones there, but a few more people came in shortly after. For the mid-$20 price range, I was pretty satisfied. The dining area was clean, utensils were well kept, and service was attentive—they cleared plates quickly. The buffet had most of the usual dishes, though the only meat option was chicken, which felt a bit limited. The biggest disappointment was the naan—it was cold and not very good. Overall, a decent buffet for the price.
Absolutely loved my experience at ClayPit in Mill Creek! From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming, polished, and thoughtfully run. The restaurant was spotless, the buffet was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and clearly well cared for—and the entire staff was attentive without being overbearing. A special shoutout to our server Sai, who was truly top-notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly on point the entire time—service like that makes a great meal unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. One thing that really stood out to me (and honestly deserves extra praise): ClayPit’s commitment to transit. Seeing ORCA cards provided to employees and transit information right on the host stand when you walk in was such a pleasant surprise. As someone who rides
We came for dinner for a party of 18 people. The place is clean. I believe there is a new owner. The crew was very nice. The food was great. Shout out for the amazing, juicy rack of lamb and the habit in the hot iron plates. The naans were fresh hot out of the oven. Made pretty much exactly like the original / previous owners. We’ve been to Clay Pit for 16 years now. We forgot to take pictures of the food. Delicious food. Definitely worth going if you need an Indian cuisine.
