Claire's at the Depot

On a Thursday night when many dining rooms are still easing into the weekend, this one was already humming. The house was close to full, yet the front of house moved with quiet efficiency. We were seated immediately and landed the kind of table most guests hope for, a two top tucked beside the fireplace, warm without being smoky, intimate without feeling cramped. We ordered three dishes and found the kitchen working with a confident, balanced hand. The she crab soup arrived in a generous shallow bowl, its color a soft coral and its texture properly velvety. Came here with a big group for dinner. Had a set menu and was impressed with the options. She crab soup was delicious as well as the southwest Caesar salad. I got the filet mignon as my main cooked very well. I thought portion was a little small but tasted delicious. Flourless torte is what I got for dessert. Overall, I’d like to come back and try their whole menu. I’m sure there are some good options there.

Had an incredible anniversary dinner at Claire’s last night - our go-to place for a date! Our server Anthony is the BEST and helped make our evening special. The food was out of this world, as usual, and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the She Crab Soup, filet, and tuna wontons, and you can’t go wrong with the Old Fashioned!

Wonderful place in a quaint setting within a train station! Food was extremely on point and delicious!

Everything was great! Service was nice. Had the she crab soup, coconut shrimp, steak, and risotto - all fantastic. Wine and Juicy IPA were great as well. Will definitely be back!
