CJ's Pizza and Taproom

A cool local pizzeria, in(Clayton) not Plainfield.. although they do have a take out version in Plainfield. This tapbar location has a buffet on Sunday. The locals definitely know the schedule so make plans to arrive early to get a seat. Great food, pizza was delicious just a little cold..especially if you're sitting in the back back room. (They should cater that area separately). Overall..a nice restaurant, pleasant workers, and great options of beers to try. My wife lived the salad bar..two trips A for sure try..as I eat and review a lot of out of pocket restaurants...

Passing through Clayton, In. Going back home to Chicago. I stopped in for a bite to eat. When you walk in staff greets you with a hello. I wasn’t that hungry I noticed they had an unlimited salad bar. Omg that was the best everything was fresh. I also noticed pizzas were flying out the kitchen that looked amazing.

Great pizza buffet on Sunday!! The tap wall is phenomenal! No line no wait . Pizza is always delicious! Lots of options. Pizza changes every time you visit!!

I ordered a pizza to go and picked it up on a Sunday around Noon. The two young lady’s at the register were very nice and prompt. The pizza cook must be different today, I’ve gotten pizza here many times, it’s close and I like their pizza. Today’s pizza was perfect, I ordered Sausage Pepperoni and Mushroom. There was just the right amount of sauce and other ingredients. I’ve had pizza there before that was a little dry due to not enough pizza sauce. Thanks to the cook preparing my pizza and the to young ladies es for getting me out of there quickly. I even put the pizza in our oven on warm until Football was getting ready to start. Thank You CJ’s for putting your restaurant in Belleville IN. I can even order on Door Dash and I’m in the country by Amo. Amo pizza doesn’t offer a thin crust o

We have ordered take out before however today we decided to come in for the first time , and our experience was disheartening to say the least. My family and I were sat down immediately walking in but after waiting 20 mins and not one server approached us. Two additional families were seated and orders were taken all before we were asked for drinks or help. We felt the cold the shoulder from employees and its unfortunate to be singled out as a minority in this establishment that claims to be “ family oriented “. We made eye contact with hostess two times and still no help. Its unfortunate to feel like this when we have ordered take many times and have no bad service in that aspect. As I hate to say this experience felt very racist .
