City of Socorro Swim Center

Very nice pool. It was enjoyable to swim in for the chili harvest triathlon I attended. It’s a clean and well kept Olympic sized pool. My only true complaint would be that the lifeguards clearly need to be retrained especially in first aid. As a lifeguard I can say they lacked basic first aid knowledge when addressing my wounds.

The City of Socorro Pool has been the funnest and one of the most memorable summer spots since forever I can remeber going as a little kid and being so excited for it to open every day. We had a blast as kids and now my kids are enjoying there summers at the pool also. It's a fun and safe place for kids and parents. Gotta love it

Beautifully clean, friendly life guards. Amazing that we have this resource in Socorro

I invited a friend from where we recently moved from and invited her family to come down to swim in our awesome community pool. When we arrived, 1:40pm, we were told that the life guards were sent home due to low attendance. Wow....i know from the 10mins it took us to unload the family, there was about 15 people who walked away disappointed and frustrated. So i ask for clarification of the pool hours and pool policy. What are the numbers mandated to ensure that the pool is open for the "entire" time listed on the website and pool location?

Public city pool, cheap to come swim. But nothing spectacular about this place would benefit from a nice splash pad or something similar.
