City Fish Company

I met Allan at the Civic Center Farmers Market one day. I stopped by his booth to check out what he carried and pricing. I was eyeing the Ahi. Allan was warm, kind and answered all my questions. I didn't buy anything that day. I told him I'd be back the next week. And I did! I picked up some Ahi and made a beautiful Asian-inspired tuna tartare. I'll definitely be returning!

Don't sleep on this vendor/ sea food supplier! FRESH selection of seafood from the Civic Center farmers market (Wed & Sun). Allan the seller, is a really good guy and down to earth. I bought a Dungeness crab and it was super delicious! No bad flavor/taste. I made a Cioppino with it! I've also bought a red Rock Rod and it was Amazing! Made a fish stew and I wish I had bought more! You can taste the quality!!!

I have been a regular customer of Allan Quiton’s City Fish Company since January 2024. He and his cousin Sean come to the Alemany Farmers Market every Saturday morning (starting around 7 AM and there until around noon or 1 PM). (Allan and Sean are also at Heart of the City Farmers Market near Civic Center every Sunday and Wednesday.) My wife and I have been buying fresh seafood in San Francisco for a quarter century, and we’ve subscribed to several different seafood CSAs for the last decade. I cannot recommend Allan’s City Fish Company highly enough! Allan sells the highest quality, freshest, most seasonal fish available. His prices are very reasonable, and he and Sean always have a smile when my wife and I stop by their stall (towards the end of the Alemany Farmers Market, on the right-h

I have been getting fish from Allan every once in a while for the last year and every time the quality and freshness are exceptional. With a black cod and 3 heads, I can make fish and chips for 2, seared filets for 2 and almost a gallon of broth (for risotto or ramen). All this for about $30. If you go to Alemany Farmer’s market, definitely check them out! Five Stars!!

The ahí tuna cut like butter. You can really taste the quality. Picked up from the Civic Center Farmer’s Market. Used it to make a delicious and flavorful poke. Allan has the best energy too!
